What this is
ReceiptNotice publishes the US Visa Bulletin in a form that answers the question people actually arrive with: where does the queue stand, and how fast is it moving. Every cut-off in every category, every month, with the movement between issues calculated rather than left for the reader to work out.
Why movement rather than a snapshot
A single month tells a reader almost nothing. A cut-off of April 2022 means one thing if it advanced eight months last year and something entirely different if it advanced one. Publishing the series, and the pace against real time, turns a static figure into something that can be understood.
What it will not do
It does not predict. It does not tell anyone what to file, when to file, or what their chances are. It has no accounts, no tracking of individual cases, and no form that accepts personal information. The priority date checker runs entirely in the browser precisely so that nothing needs to be collected.
